Our Leadership
As a Presbyterian church, we are led by a plurality of elders, which is called the session. The session members are our pastor and ruling elders.
Pastor
Rev. Timothy Brindle
Pastor
Timothy Brindle was installed as our full-time pastor on August 1, 2026. Timothy earned his M.Div. and Th.M. degrees from Westminster Theological Seminary (WTS), and previously served as associate pastor at Olive Street Presbyterian Church (PCA) while also working for WTS. He and his wife, Floriana, have nine children, including one in glory.
Rev. Ron Pearce
Pastor Emeritus
Ron retired from full time ministry on Resurrection Sunday, April 17, 2022 and uses his gifts by serving on OPC and presbytery committees, and by filling pulpits. Ron earned M.A. and M.Div. degrees from Westminster Theological Seminary in 1980, and he was called to Church of the Covenant in June 1981. He was ordained by the Presbytery of New Jersey on November 6, 1981. Ron and Linda have three children and seven grandchildren.
Ruling Elders
Keith Cuomo
Keith has been a member of Church of the Covenant since 1995 and has served as an elder since 1998. Keith is currently moderator of session.
Aron Gahagan
Aron has been a member of Church of the Covenant since 2006 and began serving as an elder in 2019.
Joel Pearce
Joel was baptized and raised in Church of the Covenant and has been a member since moving back to the area in 2014. He has served as an elder since 2018. Joel is the session’s clerk.
Rev. John Vroegindewey
John has been an ordained minister in the OPC since 1992 and has served on the session of Church of the Covenant as a ruling elder since 2015.
Our Deacons
The deacons encourage members to provide for those in want, make discreet and cheerful distribution to the needy, pray with the distressed, and remind them of the comforts of Scripture.
Ron DeBlock
Deacon Emeritus
Ron has been a member of Church of the Covenant since 2001 and served as a deacon and church treasurer from 2005-2025.
Jason Frentsos
Jason has been a member of Church of the Covenant since 2020 and has served as a deacon since 2024.
Jerry Laubach
Jerry has been a member of Church of the Covenant since 2010 and began serving as a deacon in 2013. He is is the moderator of the deacons.
Garrett Miller
Garrett has been a member of Church of the Covenant since 1999 and has served as a deacon in the OPC since 1995.
Scott Pearce
Scott was born and baptized at Church of the Covenant, and has called no other church home his whole life. He was ordained as a deacon in 2016 and currently serves as the clerk of deacons.
Chris Wagner
Chris has been a member of Church of the Covenant since 2005 and began serving as a deacon in 2009. Chris is the treasurer of the deacons.
