Our Faith

Our faith is built on Jesus Christ as He is revealed to us in the Scriptures. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God and the only place where God has clearly revealed His way of salvation.

We are also grateful that God has given pastors and teachers to His church throughout history. Their work has helped to clarify and summarize the teaching of Scripture in creeds, confessions, and catechisms. While not inspired, these writings have been recognized by the church through the ages as faithful summaries of the Christian faith clearly taught in the Bible.

As a church and denomination, we hold to the Westminster Confession of Faith and Catechisms as faithful and trustworthy summaries of what Scripture teaches: the same faith handed down from the apostles and prophets and preserved through generations of believers who know and love our Lord Jesus Christ.
