How do we react when times are truly bad? The Book of Ruth teaches us when Providence is Dark, look up to the One who is always working behind the scenes for our Highest Good for His Brightest Glory.

Sadly, our present time is known as the "Age of Anxiety." But why wasn't this always the case? The "Experts" are in disagreement over the causes as well as the cures and to be sure, if we misdiagnose the cause we'll choose the wrong remedy. In Psalm 16, David gives us the Preventative measures and the Antidote for Fear that produces that "Sense of well being" we desperately long for. Inner Peace, Joy, Hope and Love toward others is a product of Faith; Knowing Christ, a common way of life in Early America, which the Christian Church has always known.

Acts 28 is the conclusion of what Luke wanted the world to know about the works of the Ascended Christ though His apostles, especially in the life of Paul. But even though Luke's book and the lives of the Apostles ended, Christ's work of building His Church through the preaching of the Apostolic Writings did not, a fact to which the entire world is a witness.
